A Notice of Intention to Appoint Administrators at Reflections Print Finishers was filed on 10 March by directors Luke and Paul Hastings.
More than a fortnight on, an appointment of administrators is yet to be listed on official channels.
This has left employees unable to progress their claims, having not been paid their February wages or redundancy after the firm was shuttered on 26 February.
A source close to the company said: “No one has received any information or quotable numbers to file for any kind of redundancy.”
The situation at sister company Wren Packaging in Southend-on-Sea is also unclear.
Half of the employees at that company were also laid off in the wake of the Reflections collapse.
A separate source told Printweek: “The Wren employees who were fired on February 27 were not paid for the month of February. They have not received any severance pay or redundancy money.
“Those employees have not received a P45, and the current employees have not received any payslips for February.”
According to the most recent unaudited accounts, Wren had employed 22, and Reflections 69. Up-to-date numbers are unclear.
Printweek has made multiple attempts to contact Luke Hastings for comment but without response.
He is now connected to a newco, after being appointed as a director of Game Changing Ideas Ltd on 21 March. Founding director Sana Sana resigned the same day. Sana incorporated the firm on 31 January.
The company name was changed from Game Changing Ideas to Renaissance Packaging Limited on 24 March. Its registered office is at the Wren Packaging address near Southend Airport.
